Incineration Fest PREVIEW
After unleashing the first event in May 2014, Incineration Festival has now seen five capacity events hosting numerous worldwide artists including Abbath, Sodom, Dark Funeral, Alcest, God Seed, 1349, Taake, Marduk, Unleashed, Rotting Christ, Master’s Hammer, Tsjuder, Anaal Nathrakh, Impaled Nazarene, Melechesh, Immolation and many more. Acting as a mecca for extreme music, Incineration Festival year on year offers a line up consisting of the darkest and heaviest bands.
Incineration Festival’s sixth edition will be taking place on Saturday 11 May 2019 as a one-day affair at the following venues:
THE ELECTRIC BALLROOM, Camden High Street, London
UNDERWORLD, Camden High Street, London
THE BLACK HEART, Camden High Street, London (note: this is an 18+ venue)
Doors will open 12pm. Festival will start 1pm.
Headlining the 2019 event will be Norwegian black metal icons MAYHEM –one of extreme metal’s most controversial and influential bands. The band will perform a special ‘Demon Anthology‘ show which will be an extended set combining their greatest songs from all of their albums. This will be the only UK performance of Mayhem in 2019.
Sub–headlining the festival will be Norwegian black metal masters CARPATHIAN FOREST, who return to London for the first time since selling out their headline show at the Underworld back in 2013.
Greek symphonic death metallers Septicflesh have replaced Poland’s Batushka, which were on this year’s original bill.
Topping up Incineration Festival’s 2019 lineup will be the mighty death thrashers ASPHYX, infamous Swedish black metal act Shining, and Arizona’s Incite – featuring Richie Cavalera (stepson of Soulfly’s Max) – to just mention a few.
British death metal legends Benediction will make their Incineration Festival debut alongside Australian black metal band Advent Sorrow, Italian brutal death metal band Antropofagus (Official) and Mexico-based blackened death metal band Tombstoners are all making their UK debuts at Incineration!
