This week we had some special guests in for the first hour of Hellbound Radio. Jon, Travis and Adam from THREAT SIGNAL dropped by to spin some tracks from their upcoming new album Vigilance, which will be released by Nuclear Blast on September 8th. They also have a hometown CD release party in Hamilton at the Casbah on Friday, September 5th; if you are in the are don’t miss it. Here’s the whole playlist for the show.
Two of the most important American bands of the early seventies were ALICE COOPER and BLUE OYSTER CULT. Both bands had a string of successful studio albums, sell-out tours and even hit singles on the radio. Some of the key members of the original versions of both these bands have joined force in a new live band called BLUE COUPE, who are playing some shows in Southern Ontario this week

Ladies and germs, here is the playlist for this past Sunday’s edition of Hellbound Radio. This week we had our youngest guest yet. Sean’s older son Kieran (age six) rode shotgun with us (although for most of the taping he was playing games on www.tvokids.com). While young Mr. Palmerston isn’t really a fan of metal, when asked what he thought of the show Kieran said it was awesome.
Although I am writing this on the 30th, by the time I post this it will be July 31th and Hellbound will be on the final day of its second month. Hurrah! Not the most monumental achievement ever, but it feels like a major hurdle for me to have managed to update this website each weekday with new, fresh metal content for the past two months.
