point taken. but i think in this day and age of too many bands, too many releases, too many reissues and an oversaturated scene, when a band either comes along sporting that dependable sound or continues to churn out the same dependable sound time and again, it becomes a question of "i already own 15 albums that sound like this. do i really need another?"

then again, if that's what floats your boat, more power to you. i love me some bluegrass and there hasn't been a new bluegrass riff written since the 1930's - hahaha. whatever bangs your head.

Maybe we are all trying to over analyze this band a little. I am always keen to listen to bands that are pushing the boundaries in pursuit of the one that really blows you away, but on the flipside we need the bands that have a dependable sound that give us comfort in putting it on and knowing what we are in for. Not breaking the mould, but rather sitting within in it and allowing you to forget your woes and bang your head.
